Thats Cliffs Signature , very nice , I feel the same way about mine , I was so in awe looking at the bass at first I sort of glazed over it then saw it closely !I was looking at the neck joint on one of my basses tonight, it's a work of art for sure.

It is very comfortable to play, and sounds amazing with the Lindy Fralin Pickups!
I think the neck wood is maple and Padauk wood, and it makes for a very snappy response. It might be my favorite neck wood combo.
