Hi,

I received my new Rami on last Saturday. Came over to Philadelphia for business, so I can take it over to Germany personally. Great woodwork, fantastic neck, lightweight and an awesome sound unplugged. Unfortunately I still didn´t have the chance to plug it into an amp. This will have to wait until next week, but I already can tell, that it´s a lot of fun.

More comments, once I played it amplified. I´ll also post some shots then.

Cheers,
Markus

Sadly ;) yes... I actually do have plans for a third. I have most the specs finished up. But finishing my current cd project... which is massive (17 tracks) and getting a new car are first on the list.

Very nice! You'll hafta keep us Bordwellians in the loop about the CD. One of my old bands might be getting the ball rolling again and finishing the CD we started about.......5 years ago and only got 2 tracks done, LOL! Found another small scale band which isn't very technical, but they're not pricks....so it's a start. I'm finding it very odd that I'll be putting music on the back burner this summer for road racing. Growing up I always leaned towards music and was far from athletic. Most are as surprised as I am. :p

Still, I have CB#2 on order and I'm working on the technical aspects of a 36"-33" fanned 6.

TSlice,
That bass is just gorgeous! I am a huge fan of purpleheart and that bass has some fine examples of it.

Congratulations to all of the guys who were in this build, all of the basses turned out great.

I have put my Rami up for trade. As much as I love the bass, the neck width is just killing my left hand. It is strange for me because I have never had any affliction like this before, but I would rather save my hand than keep a bass because I love it.

I do still have a 5 on order with Cliff, I had to push the order back a couple of build groups, but all will be right in the world this time next year. (Not really, but I will have a CB 5 string again)
