Apologies for the serial posting, but HELL, I've got a new toy!
Still not got her plugged in, but first impressions....
Beautiful to behold....
So Light!!
The Neck carving is superb..
Zero Fret = Winner
It's really quite strange, now being able to hold rather than looking at .jpgs!!
Pics will follow, sound clips if I can get my Laptop working again.
On the subject of clips, anyone used Propellerhead Record?

Here are more images from Tom on the body shaping and contouring. Oh, I finally decided to go with the bloodwood fingerboard over the ebony.

Tom is about to go and play it now!
It'll be interesting to see how the redwood with these two different neck woods compare. I have a redwood top but went with the ebony. Here' s the latest pic from Tom of the completed and finished body. He had to go back over the top to get the crazy grain under control but I think it looks just amazing. Hoping for shipping next week.![]()
Very nice! I was thinking about doing something in a double cut just like this a while back.
Here are a few pics of my bass #182, should have it next week!

Here is the first picture of the 7-string prior to Tom playing it for the first time in 'playable' condition...
