Interesting! I have ever only played one bass with anything lower than a B-string, and it wasn't producing anything useful down there *FOR ME*. I'm sure it takes some work to get used to and being able to utilize that range and to make it sound good. I'm sure Tom's bass will achieve it, though, i've never played a bass he made that doesn't perform like a charm.

I have never played a PIEZO bass before. I am finger style orchestral style player into 6 string basses only. What does the PIEZO do for the bass and what does the chambering on 1.5" do? Mr. Walker you said Anne "behaves differently" than a solid body. What do you mean by that? What is the best wiring configuration for chambered mixed electronics. Passive or active? I run my "other" fretless passive without any concerns. Will 1.5 inches of chambering be worth it? I love all the posts so far but thought there might be update thoughts. What i need is to test drive one!! Thanks
