I do that all the time,

good = home
beer = adds

So my poor wife has to try and decipher cryptic sms messages like...

in good for a adds

:ninja::ninja::ninja:

Also Mr Walker, you can ad #164 to my membership number

cheers!

haha I feel for you, man! :)
I even get the stupid phone putting my norwegian words in with the English, and the english in with the Norwegian... not always a pretty sight! :D

Added your bass to the list :-)

Happy waiting period!

Truth is, it's probably exactly the same sort of stuff you guys have, just with different names!

And I have to add, that's the First time I've been put in the same barrel as a Norwegian!!

I know we are all supposedly "European" but there is such huge division and diversity in culture, not to mention language, Government etc

And unfortunately us stubborn Brits aren't really helping attain any sort of European Unity!

well, the comparison may not be so totally off, cause we're not so unity oriented either, not even a member of your union! and don't you remember Churchill's words?
"Look to Norway!"

:D

Man, this bass plays like a dream! I really love the neck profile, and it has just as much life and "mwah" to it as the 5-string black limba fretless that Ed reviewed in issue #4.

Here are some pics to prove that it really made it here! And, being that this week is "New Bass Week," you'll also see a few shots of my brand spankin' new Dingwall Z3:

Man, I love that zirocote board, too! Interestingly, the Dingwall also has a zirocote board, though this honestly was not a coordinated effort. :D

Here's a close-up of that Dingwall board, just for kicks:

Here are my new beauties showing us their backsides. :D

Sorry about spamming all these photos of this bass. Sometimes I just get a bit excited. :smug:

Thank you Tom for making me such a wonderful instrument! :hyper:

Tom.

So it's almost ready and I'm ecstatic...couldn't be happier with the results so far! Gonna be nice to work that baby over when she's done.

Tom, The more pictures the better IMO, really tells the full story. Oh, yeah and I love those Hamilton hangers. Got 2 myself. That is one beautiful axe.

Manjushri, And you got the black / clear Q tuners. Make a clear concise sound with those pups. You can get zingy to full, fat and deep. Experiment with em. The little allen screw poles adjust for tonality, but you already know that I am sure. You gonna love it.
The ladies will love the smell of all those flowers on this wonderful piece.

When did you order the Dinger?

When did you order the Dinger?

I began talking to Sheldon about that bass pretty much right after I received the blue Z3 that I reviewed in issue #2. I think that it was about 18-20 months to delivery after I paid my deposit, though I'm not real positive on those dates.
