Several in this club have been singing that song for years but never knew the title. Thanks, Nofretz6. I'll soon be singing it myself.
Wavey, the Fatstacks will be without a preamp until this one gets home, same as #122 was. (She ended up with an Aggie OBP-1 and Rotosound flatwounds.) I have an Aggie OBP-3 that will get its time in the "pocket". Another candidate is a Demeter, if It seems this Anne needs the extra push. The "stacks" will most probably end up with a push/pull feature for humbucking to single coil switching by the time I am done fiddling. More fun on the way!!

How many of you use your onboard preamp? I studied what I was doing during gigs and found out I turn the bass and treble full off most of the time. When the preamp is needed: it is just a tad of bass!!! shocker for me to know. How about y'all?

Those that have preamps I normally run passive and have the bass and treble up just a hair in case I want to switch to active.......t

Almost exclusively on, I tend to find a sound that cuts and stick with it when playing live. At home I temd to fiddle a lot more

Mine is always on because it doesnt have a passive option. I'm not a constant knob fiddler as far as EQ goes. I'm much more likely to change the pickup blend to vary the sound.
The EQ function I use the most on my Clement is to occasionally boost the low mids-its almost like having another volume control!

It depends on the amp rig I am using. With my all-tube gear, I almost always run in passive mode. Otherwise, I probably use active mode more than passive, unless I am going for a more vintage tone.
