Just got back from a week cruising through Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. 1300+ miles to celebrate my wife's retirement. Got back to work today. didn't think too many people even looked at the blog.......t

:D You should be more worried if they start looking at your wife! :eyebrow:

Our congratulations to your wife!! Does that also mean that you now have extra labour power in the workshop???? :hyper::hyper:

Hello all.

I'm the very proud owner of #121 and just finished doing a recording of her. I was just jamming out and almost couldn't stop myself.:hyper:

It went over four and half minutes.

I listened back and, wow, what an awesome tone! Didn't think I could play like that..

I also used her for band rehearsal on Sunday and this bass makes our whole band sound better. It's just so solid that it lays down a massive foundation for everything else.

NWB - nicely done and nice sounding bass. thank you so much. Tom loves these sound clips we send him.

Any one want to see my new idea for my dream "C" in looks?
I really love this. What y'all think? Especially Mr. "C". this a combination of the Anne top side and Jon lower side as a 6 string. :hyper::hyper:

I like that shape a lot. I think the upper contour could use a little deeper contour though. It just looks a little flat compared to the rest of the shape.

Hmm, I can't get that link to play anything for me.

Jeez, I'm such a dunce when it comes to computers.:hmm:

Any suggestions for user-friendly MP3 hosting sites?

I downloaded it and it plays just fine. Diggin the sound. Your problem could be that the track isn't loud enough. I opened it in VLC and had to boost the volume to 375% to get a decent amount of volume playing through my laptops speakers. If you have audacity open the MP2 with that and boost the volume maybe +6db then export it as mp3 and everything should be cool.

If you want a place for hosting the actual file and not just a download check out icompositions, twiturm, or tindeck. I use all three but I like tindeck and icompositions the best.

I'd be happy to do it for you if you like.

Thanks much Kwesi!

I had the levels up there when I recorded, but on playback it's not so loud. I'll use some editing software and give 'er a boost as you suggest.

I'll give those hosting sites a try!
