Wow... Just Wow, and wow again. Tom put a long day in today and just sent me this photo. This bass already looks so freaking amazing I can only imagine the finished product. I am really really happy with how all of my selections are coming together visually. It's going to be rough waiting to touch and hear it myself.

And a 'WOW' from me too. Love the woods, another Stunner from the House of Clem!

Spoken in a very deep bass voice. "Oh, yeah." Really nice one there.

So Tom was planning on giving #248 a test run tonight at his Thursday night gig at The Cabbage Patch... So more than likely, right now, as I write this, my stunning new bass is making great sounds just 3 hours away accross the state from me. To be honest, if it werent for gas money considerations and having work tomorrow I may well have made the drive over just to get a first listen.

Ha ha - I know so what you mean!! I'm nigh on 3,000 miles away on the wrong side of the pond, and I wanted to do the same!! Still do actually!

Still working on the missis - to get her to agree that we NEED a holiday in Florida - not too far from Orlando...

:D

Do you need the agreement of the missis? Damn that will be difficult. Want to go too but without the missis. She 's not interested in music and certainly not in bass guitars. And what else am I going to do over there then looking for the nice art work of TC and listening to music in pubs. :D

Wavey & Bompa,
I don't personally own a Motorcycle, but can definitely reccommend Bike week in the spring & Biketoberfest in the fall as both being great times to visit Daytona. I want to take my own Missis over that way sometime. Sopotnick's Cabbage Patch, where Tom plays is a legendary location during all of this. (Bike Mamas actually wrestle in coleslaw there,, it's a real spectacle).

Great, with or without the agreement of the missis. Perhaps we can visit our fellow bass players across the pond sometime. If you have any nice and not to expensive recommendations for staying, that would be welcome too. :hyper: What do you think Wavey? Tod, let us know when you're going. I had in mind to go next year in the fall. In mind does mean that I'm just thinking it over and that it's still not certain. Keep in touch!

When my third one is ready, I'll come. With the reactions I've had so far it will certainly be possible to plan a trip. :hyper::hyper::hyper::D
Do you have campsites over there? Or can I put up a tent in someones backyard? Too soon for that perhaps.:p
I'm already excited.

Woo Hoo. No worries something can be worked out. :hyper:

Would love to get over - but have a huge raft of Business / Family / Work commitments to get through.

But it would be nice to get a C-Club convention at the Cabbage Patch!

Tclem can verify, the Patch is INSANE during bike events. It goes from a small local bar to a huge festival and campground. Live bands all day and night.
More fun then should be allowed!
