Tomorrow, after working 9 am to 6pm, I'll change clothes at work, hop in the car and make the 3 hour drive from the Sun Coast to the Space coast. I will then get to see Tom play # 248 in its completed state before taking it into custody and bringing it home :) hopefully I'll be in bed by 1 or so to be up for another 9 to 6 on Friday... It will be a long day at work with my new bass at home.. then Friday night will be a late night playing it. In any case (hope you don't mind Tom).. here's a photo of Tom Playing 248 before the final strip down, oil finish and re-build... no pics of the completed bass just yet, but I'll send any I get if I get new ones and have the chance to upload them before my trek tomorrow.

hey guys...I am not sure if this is the correct place for this, but TCB 243 is up for sale. It is a 5-string fretless walnut faced Jon body with mahogany body and neck. You can search this forum for photos...I do plan on posting some when I get into town. Too much travel and not enough time to play/learn.

Anyway, I am looking for $1800 and this includes a brand new Reunion Blues gig bag that was around $175. price is shipped and paypal'd.

my apologies if this is the wrong place.

thanks!

Sean

Wow.. what a great night, and now wee early morning before bed and work..... The bass in person is WAYYY beyond what pictures can convey. Tom is a heck of a great guy. I wish I had had more time between my three hour drive over and my three hour drive back to hang out with him and chat. Ya know that Clement gathering one day would be a fun time. The tone and Mwahh of 248 are awesomely amazing... The sound has everything I like about an active pre-amp without needing active electronics, and therefore sounds more natural. Tom said he'd been playing it for most of the set... I can tell that he's going to definitely miss this bass.. while I feel bad in a sense about that, however, I can see why. I texted Tom that one day she needs a twin sister that he keeps.. I know no two are alike.. But I imagine a close approximation of this one would be equally Badass with a different nuance. :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::D:D:D:D:D:bassist::bassist::D:D:bassist::bassist::D:D:p Goodnight all.

Congratulations!!!! :-)

Clement Gathering in Tom's back yard would be awesome, with a Clement Bass Big Band jam at the Cabbage afterwards! There are of course only two requirements to join the CBB band:
* You have to wear a Clement bass!
* You can't wear shoes!

:D:D:D:D
