Club Dark Star

There's also a Lakland Hollowbody with dual DarkStars in classifieds.
If I were a 4 string player, I'd hit either of those, but, I have enough 4 strings I don't play already;)

That one is giving me GAS so bad it hurts. I offered my DPLEII in trade for it but he doesn't like narrow necks. SHUCKS!!

I have a DS'd Skyline HB in CAR.;) Took it to practice last week for the first time and it is absolutely perfect for certain songs--so thumpy and creamy-sounding with JO flats. Not goin' nowhere!

I'm really glad he's ok and producing again.
That's great news, I'm really glad to hear Fred's back in action! I have two Laklands with Dark Stars and love'em. I hope those who haven't had a chance to experience them now get the opportunity.

1974 Precision; pup installed on the body by Butch Ammons of Bayou Cables; came to me thru Nolabass with no neck, I slapped a nice fat maple C-neck on it.
Snarly!
I reversed the pickup from when Nola had it, and the poles now face the neck for mo-phatter-ness.

By Odin's Beard that is a beautiful P !!:bassist:

just great, something else to get me Jones'n for more bass projects... :rollno: :D

I can make you one as long as...

The most beautiful Longhorn I've ever seen. Sorry to highjack the DS thread Chef, but a quick bump for this extraordinary bass is warranted... Cripes, just listen to this thing's sound clips! Link Removed
