What do you do up there and what is a steel band doing up there??? Just curious I guess!!! Cheers and take care!!! I find myself interested in your opinion as you have a massif F Bass collection, and therefore it's good to have a fellow bassist to be able to rely on to sometimes answer questions about different things....

I rely on everyone at talkbass for opinions, as you could see with my seeking advice for the steel drum gig.
I love being able to tap the experience of others -- and save me a misstep or two.
Great.. I find the same thing. We can come in here and ask for advice about many different things, even just a bass stand for example.. lol.... and get advice from other bass players... Well, there is an interesting twist. The steel drum band landed 3 gigs that I absolutely cannot play due to scheduling conflicts that I cannot change, so I'm out.... BTW, how is that steel drum gig coming? Have you found the right bass to play??? You have such a collection, you should be able to find the right one for sure... That's a shame, but before that happened I found that the problem with the bass not being punchy enough for the musical director was in my Roland rig (the settings got jostled and were not where I meant for them to be). I swapped that out for my Demeter head + El Whappo cabinet, then went to BN6E Replica and everyone loved it.
