Out of the three Fs I've owned, the Studio was my favorite.

My is in good shape 8.5 out of 10. Well care for but do have two dings but not bad.

I don't really know this is my first one. Never had any papers on it.

Yea me too. I think jimmy might have suggested to George to reverse the headstock. Well jimmy has his own line now.

I think Fodera may have started the reverse headstock for their 5s, as well as making the Buckeye tops popular {like my new Fbass}.

Apparently the reverse headstock concept is controversial. Some say it lengthens the B string by putting the peg further out, thus strengthening the string. Others say it doesn't make a difference in the least because the string is cut off at the nut, regardless where the tuning peg sits.

Right. Sorry, that's what I meant by "strengthen."

I always like the looks of the headstock with B and E on one side and the "higher" strings on the other, longer side. It just looks right to me the way FBass does it now.

I put my BN5 back on the block. Just not digging the long upper horn. It's in the classifieds again.
