It is so cool that Marcel makes the time to keep us all up to date and involved like this, isn't it? The bass in progress reports are always so cool, even well after you've owned the bass.

Paradox maybe, but I understand Google, Bing, etc. LOVE it when sites link to each other and it boosts the site's SEO (search engine optimization).

Anyway, it would be good to get people seeing our community.

Buy and Fbass and you aren't just buying one of the best, if not THE best bass in the world, but you are joining a community of guys who are ever ready to answer a question, share a clip or make you lust for more gear... like you and RandyT are doing to me with these photos!

I can't speak for Randy, but I know why I did for my fretted AC6.

I have 3 AC6s, each with a different type of bridge:

The metal bridge on the fretted AC6 completely changes the sustain, the decay, the tone and the slap tone of that bass in ways that I prefer for a FRETTED bass.

To me it is just a better fit for a fretted bass and the things I do on a fretted bass.
