Kind of funny. I'm up late drinking NuLytely(if you don't know what it is, you don't want to know.... got a 'procedure' tomorrow:spit:) while i'm looking thru Fbass porn. Probably the only time i'll click on some of the most gorgeous basses in existence, then haul a$$ to the bathroom:D

This one is coming my way. I think Tom7 & I are going to fight over it. :D

I drop in to drool over some drop-dead gorgeous F's, and I have to scroll back all the way to page 16:scowl:
This is unacceptable! How 'bout some more pics fellas/gals?!:D
Good point. I like to have at least 1 photo per page, just to keep the interest level up. Maybe, since I'm crippled right now, I'll take some new photos myself.

Thanks for the reminder.

Tom single handedly (sorry, I couldn't resist ;)) put this roster together for everyone's drooling pleasure!

Just click away my friend... this is probably the worlds most comprehensive resource of Fbass porn in the world!

Seriously Tom, thank you!!!

Pat.
Thanks, for the props, Pat. Always nice to be appreciated.

And what a PUN ("SINGLE handedly")! Nice one!

What can I say though? I DID visit a second hand store earlier this week, but they couldn't help me. :bawl:

Hi all,

just curious, my BN6 is thé most incredible bass i ever played on ... however, there is just one little issue i'd like to see different, the stringspacing.

Is there anybody who can tell me if F-bass has an option for replacing the bridge or maybe just the saddles, in order to narrow down the stringspacing to 17 mm?
And of course if possible ... what shall it cost?

Thanks!
Harry.
Hi Harry
Beyond what has already been mentioned, the pickups would need to be changed as well, so that the polepieces align with the new string spacing. My suggestion is a custom order.

Hi George and all others who contributed in answering my question, thank you very much for the clear info!!

Now i'll have to save money for a while :hmm: to get my perfect F-bass, in the mean while i'll be more than happy with my current F-basses ... so don't worry ;)

Harry.

Harry.

if you went to 17.5 instead of 17 i think youd be fine. i put a 17.5 hipshot a on my fodera that is 20mm spacing i think. the extra space on the sides of the b and g strings wasnt that big of a deal. there was also zero loss on sound quality or output with the strings not lining over the polepieces of the original pickups.

I've been asked a good question, which I cannot answer because I do not have a BNF5.

Here it is:

"How can I tend to have the 'big' sound of the AC5 [with his BNF5]? Cutting the low mid 300 Hz? Another way?"

Edit: By the way, he has Thomastik Infeld Jazz Flats installed by George.
