If there is one thing I wish F Bass would do...it would be to make professional videos of all of their models and options. We have lucked out by having some of our excellent members here do so and even for F Bass. They really should make their own. I know the new pups aren’t really out there yet, but it would be nice to hear them played by an actual bass player. Just saying..

i agree, Tom! I love when our group posts videos of F’s in action. Real world use.
I think Music Force’s f bass demos on YouTube are by far the best quality and most consistent. All demo’ed by some serious South Korean players!!

Sadly, I’m recuperating from a broken pinky on my left hand, so I haven’t been able to play it yet- a bit of salt in the wound, but hopefully by the end of the month
... for now it’s just sitting there, looking good...

I don't know much, but that one on the left in that pic has the normal BN pickups. It's just the one on the right with the dual coils.
The new dual coils:
- Handwound F Bass humbucking pickups with the single-coils loosely based off of the old vintage singles.
- Each pickup has a 3-way toggle switch for series (thick, dark, and compressed), single-coil (spanky, bright, and open) and parallel (tonally between the first two modes).
- The pickups are exposed pole with taller magnets to add a little shimmer and clarity at the stock factory pickup height.
- Wired up with Tara Labs audiophile-grade wiring to ensure the purest tone possible.
- Includes an upgraded Deluxe Gig Bag

Does anyone know what would be required to use regular "fully wound" strings instead of the taper-core Fbass strings on a BNF with the non-adjustable ebony bridge?
From Marcel Furlanetto:
"The action is harder to set with a wooden bridge.
It can be lowered by sanding the bottom of the bone nut saddle. If you wanted it higher then a new bone saddle would have to be made.
If you wanted slight adjustments you can do so by adjusting the truss rod.
The difference in string height between tapered strings and regular full-core strings isn’t too drastic.
You may even find that you like the height without adjustment."
