Club Fbass (thread 13)

Nice job, sir, except for not singing it, too...:):roflmao: Love the tone! That looks like a pretty cool space, too. Well done!

What's your recording setup and chain, if you don't mind?
Thanks pbass6811! Singing is not one of my assets unfortunately. I joke that they pay me not to sing. Yes, I have pretty much everything I need here in my mancave. It may appear a little longer than it actually is due to the camera shot. I'm going through a Zoom G5n Multi Effects Processor (for guitar) and the camera is a Zoom Q2n 4K.

Did you contrast it against a BN? If so, what was the difference that swayed you?
I played a BN5 years ago at Bass Central and quite liked it. That's the only one I've ever had the opportunity to try though. The VF4 came as part of a package deal. I traded a Fodera for a Roscoe fretless and the Vf4. It worked out great!

Nice! Is that just amp in the room sound or did you plug into the camera? It sounds great!

There's a 4 string Studio in stock at F Bass right now from 2015. Never even seen a 4 string Studio before today. Wish I had the cash

Greetings F Bass family! If anyone is looking for a particularly stellar example of a BN5 from the brand we've all come to love, I'm (out of my mind &) currently selling mine.
Details can be found here --> F Bass BN5
Thanks!

Don't do it, man! I absolutely adore my Dingwall basses and there's only one bass I'd even consider trading/selling my BNF5 for, but I truly regret selling my BN5s. I wish I still had at least one of them.

Don't do it...;)

I hear you loud and clear. I've parted with a few BN5s chasing what would ultimately lead me to this one. They were all great, but this one trumps them all... I can already feel the separation anxiety! :rollno:

I had that with 3 BN5's that I sold and kept my BN5 NYC (black one) which will never leave me.:)
You should always have a BN5 in your stable imo, although I prefer the VF series more these days.
