Hello, F Bass people... I think it's time for me to join the club!
A few months ago, I bought this 2019 Maple/Ash BN5 with Sunburst finish, from South Shore Music in Weymouth, MA:

And, just today, the FedEx man delivered this 2007 AC5 Fretless with a Quilted Redwood top and Maple body, from Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar in Seattle, WA:

I think that was one of the redwood tops I was offered for my 2007 AC5 build.
Why didn't you pick it? It's sooooo quilty and nice!
I don't have any of those switches on my AC5. What are they for?

The switches were part of my custom order request
piezo on/off
active/passive
kill switch (Fodera-style)
Cool thanks. The switches were part of my custom order request

The knobs look like Redwood but are made of another wood that I can't remember that's more suitable to turning on the lathe.
Satin finish with no purfling.

My 2nd knob is an on/off switch for the piezo as well. The question I have is why have a switch when you can just turn the Piezo volume down?
It is an F-bass but from the "GFC" (George Furlanetto Custom) run which was like a handful or so. I have two of them. One is currently being refinished in two tone burst and the other is the one you see in the pic (autumnburst).
Here is my newest GFC after being refinished
Hey guys!
It’s been awhile but I’ve got a new F-Bass! A very very cool BN6!
At the end of last year, I decided to take the plunge and try 6. It’s been a ton of fun. I had a couple BN6’s in the past and had fretting hand issues with them. I believe my hands weren’t ready for 6. Fast forward about 5 years and I tried a deadly custom BNF fretted 6 at Fbass shop. The 16.5mm spacing piqued my interest and it fit like a glove. This Ceruse BN6 is 19mm spacing and it still works just fine!
So...here it is...my 2000 build BN6!
Tom, if you’re updating the Fbass Club records...this is the only F in my stable at the moment! Thanks man!

Here's some FBass love for those of us who are Chicago fans...
Synchronicity 1 by the Police played on my F bass VF4:
Love the tone! That looks like a pretty cool space, too. Well done!
