As far as comparing the two cabs....I really don't have any simulator time with them side by side...but....just by evaluating the size of the cab...I would assume that the S would have a tighter , more focused low end, brighter highs?...and the M being larger...the volume might increase with a larger low end and less attack in the mids, sweeter highs.....but this can also be EQ'd out to a point!!!...The cab also has a Tweeter adjustment knob...extremely useful...

Hey everyone. Swung by f bass yesterday while my band was playing hamilton to have some work done by George on my vf5. Last night was one of the best tones I've ever been able to get. George is the master. Those new aguilar pickups slay. Here is a clip I found. iPhone heavy compressed recording but you will get the idea
Oh and here is a much better video that we did in toronto a few weeks ago with my vf4.
