TIJFs are worth the hype IMO. For the price they'd better be.

Assuming by "loose" you're referring to feel, they are the least stiff strings I've played before, but I've never tried super brights. If you like that feel I'm sure you'll like them.

There are lots of things to like about TI Flats. They sound meh alone, but can sound amazing in the mix. Perfect. Yet, I’ve taken them off every 5er I’ve put them on. I have them on a Ric, yes different, but magic. I just can’t get around the tension of the strings, especially the B. Noodle and sounds accordingly. I’d vote Dunlop flats. I put a set on my BN5 and they are perfect. I love them, sound guy loves the bass, and they are very versatile.

All my personal preference. You can’t go wrong, but Dunlop is what I’d do.

I used the 45/125 set on the BN5. I also like the La Bella DTF, but those are much darker than the Dunlops.

That birds-eye is stunning. Is that roasted ash with burst edges, or am I reading the finish wrong?

Yeah, love the FB!
It's not roasted ash, regular ash with the Antique brown burst finish.

Ditto, #1 sounds great. 2&3 sound very similar.
