Club Fbass (thread 13)

Hi all, happy to share with all my first 6 string FBass BN6. I’m probably the 5th owner of this beautiful bass that was built in 2005. The size and fitting is great and I think i’m falling in love! Cheers.

I kind of see what you mean. My spalted maple is confined to this bass.

I had a spalted top on an ESP/LTD Fretless. It was a looker for the price. That said, I flipped it for a nicer fretless.

I rock Foo Fighters, Nirvana, STP, Sabbath, and plenty of other rock and roll on my BN5.

yeah, my BN5 does everything. I’d never pigeonhole it.

And to be fair, I can say the same thing about my MTD 535-24, my Sadowsky, my Wilkins, PRS Grainger, etc etc.

All GREAT basses…I’ve tried, owned, or still own all of them. IMO none of them have the versatility of a BN5. The pickups and preamp are really special.

Yeah... there is a little part of me that is very happy it isn't a 5.

Ish has had some nice 4's in stock and Donovan has a nice one now too. Maybe those <insert brand x here> only players are coming around to F Bass quality.
