I had a BNF5, and think the ball end rested against the back of the bridge when stringing through(?)

Weird. I left them in for this set, but will probably take them out next time. Thanks.
Yes. Marcel told me that they used those "floating" washers for a while, and then switched to set-in washers. The bass is totally fine now.Is this the same bass you are currently selling?
Some wild B Stock listings just went up.
Black Cherry Deluxe 5 and a Myrtle 4.

$8350 - $9350 CDN for "B-Stock" level basses??? I love this brand but prices are getting a little ridiculous no?
I’m thinking very seriously about a 33” 18mm VF5. There was one floating around here for a bit. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with that spec on a VF?
Thanks!

To be fair, those are some pretty fancy basses there- that myrtle top is gorgeous (FBass has charged over $1k for tops as long as I remember), and has a roasted body and neck; the Deluxe one has the cool color shift paint, roasted neck and board and the deluxe pickups/electronics. You can still get a standard BN5 for under $5k, if you lay off the options, and that will still be a world class bass, if not super blinged out. My blue beauty runs neck and neck with my much pricier USA MTD and Sadowsky NYC.you’re not kidding. Finally caught up to Fodera. Still no 30k Anthony Jackson bass.![]()
Where? I wanna see! Thank you. Some wild B Stock listings just went up.

Just checked out the Builder earlier this week after a few years. When did they implement these price increases on new builds? It looks like it's gone up by almost 2500AUD. A basic spec BN5 is around $8k AUD now...
I mean, some would say F basses have been underpriced for a while and now they're doing a bit of catch up..
I’ve written more than one reply today and deleted it. I’m just going to say this…
1. FBass = best value around
a. Fit and finish is second to none
b. Tone variety is from A-Z and new letters too
c. Customer service off the charts— it crushes the closest competitor other than Alembic and that is neck and neck
2. Are folks really surprised that goods and services are more in 2024 than they were 2020?
I think it also depends where you get it from - the builder prices are what F Bass would charge, a dealer can do betterI’ve written more than one reply today and deleted it. I’m just going to say this…
