LOTS of scammers on Reverb lately, all with the same m.o. - pics and descriptions stolen verbatim from legit listings. over and over and over again I see the same F Basses, Foderas, Carl Thompsons, Gibson Custom Shops, David Gilmour Strats posted, usually dozens of listings all at once by someone with no feedback. I honestly don’t get what they’re trying to achieve what with Reverb’s and Paypal’s built in buyer’s protections.

btw for anyone interested I’ll soon be selling the BN6 that I posted about here, I’ve come to realize it’s just a little too much bass for me. my BNF6 ain’t going anywhere though! Marcel said he’d provide me with packing materials so I’ll be picking those up at the shop sometime soon as well.

interesting that you should say that, I took the knobs off to reorientate them (I’m OCD about which way they point) and the colour underneath was much bluer. I’m a big fan of their takes on both green and blue so I’m happy either way. this bass is in amazing condition for its age, other than the typical chip on the headstock it doesn’t have any of the finish checking or pickup wear you might usually see on F Basses of this vintage.

When I saw my purple BN5 go up for sale I grabbed it immediately. I just knew that was the one. When you know you know.

Seriously. I think it’d be gone if the seller hadn’t taken pictures with a 2005 potatophone. I can’t understand how $3k+ instruments get listed with fuzzy photos. I can forgive some angles and lighting, as I’ve struggled to get good shots for listings myself.

I got my Studio under similar Reverb circumstances. Seller listed it as a BN, but it turned out to be a Studio from the special run of them they did in 2015.

fyi this very early F Bass six string was just posted to Facebook. full disclosure, this was the seller I bought my BN Studio from. great guy to deal with.
