What can one do about trying to put an order in for future build on a PIV? I have sent email to two different addresses listed and haven’t gotten response yet. Website is not the most helpful. I have a few Bluesman Vintage that I have been enjoying. I like the less is more approach by these builders. So I would like to order a Moollon P.

Email Ultradust here on TB or Andi Roselund on FB. He’s essentially the Moollon rep. Contact and communication can be frustrating - I was ready to make a deposit and order like any serious customer would and I gave up trying. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t taking orders, but it’s worth a shot.

Seriously, I think the current wait time is around 30 months.

Ouch! I thought it was bad at about 2 years.
My first order was about 10-11 months.

I purchased directly from Moollon back in May of 2020. They are (obviously) quite busy now, but it's worth reaching out to Andi. Lots of good info in this FAQ from a few years ago as well: #1002

Edit: btw you have good taste. I have a Sadowsky, Fender CS and a Lakland USA Glaub as well

I was told 11-12 months when I ordered my first in early (End of Jan) 2020, and I’ll get that bass next week . I made a 2nd order Feb of 2021 and honestly I think I may get that Feb 2022 or later at this point. Oh well I’m sure it’ll be worth it

Been reading through this thread for the first time, many years to catch up on. Hope to start an order, probably oly white, tort, and ebony for timeless appeal. So, is the Scott Devine bass color Inca Silver? I've read several different things about his color.

it's not Inca Silver, it's slightly darker... "Charcoal Pearl" I think it's called.

I think covid Also had to do with the Time waith. Other Luthiers have this issue also.

It's in between Inca Silver and Charcoal frost, and that's what mine will be hopefully very soon. Andi sent these pics to me to help with my decision.

Coincidentally I ordered a P IV back in may with the Scott Devine finish. According to Andi that translates to Light Charcoal Frost.
