i had a barefaced 210s and didnt love it. really colored the tone a way i didnt like. I reccomend the revsound 210!
I suppose they are very different. WIth the BF, they are meant to be colored for more vintage tone. They are now also making one with an optional tweeter, which probably changes it a bit. I don't believe Revsound are trying to give their 210 a particular sonic signature like BF are. A truer comparison would be with BF line of 12's rather than the 10's. I'd like to try the BF-210 matched with my B-15 all tube clone. I run that amp through an Ampeg 115LF, and its's fun, but i bet the BF210 would be better overall. Perhaps combined.

that blue is beautiful! Mine also came with the zero mod thumb rest and a separate tort guard which I’ll switch to eventually.
I keep staring at @jaysbassspace black P5 in the classifieds. It’s so tempting to drive 1.5 hours north. Someone will be very lucky to pick that one up.
well, if I had two of them, one would be rounds and the other flats. Both sound fantastic.

12 coats of nitro now. Will let it dry and start the sanding schedule in about 10 days. I will start the wet sanding with 800 grit, and work up to 3000, after which the power buffing and polishing will begin. Current plan is to bring it to glossy shine. However after I see it glossy, it is possible I’ll sand it back to satin. Do you guys have any opinions about the level of sheen most beautiful with a natural finish? The neck and fingerboard is one-piece of maple with the back sanded smooth satin. The pickguard is anodized gold.

Hey guys. This is not a sale listing, but just an alert that I will be listing a FEELER here on TB for my amazing Moollon 56 P in Lake Placid Blue. You can see the bass pictured a few posts up from here. I had recently been up to four Moollons. Two Standard P's, the 56 P, and my Jazz. I sold one of the Standard P's last month, and now with this refinish almost completed, I'm not sure the 56 will get touched much, for no other reason other than I will want to play as much as possible the P I am refinishing. It's been a lot of time, work, and money. I know one could say you can never have enough Moollons, but I have also turned my gaze to vintage Fenders, only good ones.
If I sell the 56, I will be left with a very respectable P and J.
The 56 has a good amount of natural relic, as the original owner who I purchased it from is a full-time pro. Although he has requested a "first look" to buy it back in the event I decide to sell it, he may not be interested enough to do it.
So if any of you have a strong opinion about my 56, please feel free to express yourselves. It will influence what I decide to do.

Has anyone A/B-ed a Moollon P classic IV with a jazz neck and one with a p neck?
Sort of... but one has an ash body and one alder so probably too many variables to really compare.
I feel like I read from Andi somewhere that YJ has A/B-ed a P classic IV with a jazz neck and one with a P neck (obviously) and that he found no noticeable difference. Maybe it was in my own correspondence with him… but I seem to remember coming across that info at some point.
