The deposit has been burning a whole in my wallet for long enough and I’m ready to order a p-classic. Is it better to contact Andi here or through the FB page?

I used iMessage via Facebook. Had good results with that. (Deleted my FB account).

The Moollon email contact is good too.

I would use TB lastly.

Again, it's a super small operation and a part time gig for Andi so if a correspondence isn't forth coming don't worry. He always gets back in a timely fashion.

Good luck and you won't regret it.

Thanks for the info. I know there’s a long wait, but based on everyone’s comments in this thread I know it’ll be worth it. I’m thinking desert sand with tort and an ebony board, btw.

Sounds perfect. Here's a pic of a DS, tort, ebony P-bass.

thank you,
I was referring to a P or a J assuming the price could be the same :)
So it’ s 2400$ w/o VAT and shipping cost, is it?
$2,400 includes shipping from Moollon. You may incur other customs fees as it crosses into your country, but it seems most don’t run into this. I paid Moollon directly and it showed up on my doorstep 4 months later, with no extra tax, customs, or shipping fees. It’s up to 12+ months for a new build now.
There’s a great FAQ document floating around that I highly recommend you read if you’re interested in buying. It answers questions you didn’t even know you had about buying a Moollon!

I didn’t know the existence of a FAQ document, moollon site isn’t very informative :smug:
The Moollon Facebook page has the best info with the FAQ on it. It's also posted somewhere in this thread too.

This was posted in 2019 and probably has some subtle updates at this point but it's copied from Facebook.

With the high demand and current wait time for new instruments, their site doesn’t really need to be. They aren’t hurting for orders and cater to a very small and unique niche of bassists who will search them out. You’ll understand more by reading the FAQ. The FAQ is buried in this thread as well as in the Facebook group. I just found it in this thread by searching “Moollon FAQ,” or you can do the same search in the Moollon Basses group on Facebook. Their customer representative, Andi (aka Ultradust), put it together and posted it back in December of 2019.
