No, if you'd been there and heard it, THAT woulda' killed you. :D

We were in the Richard Treat hall on campus. The room is much longer than it is wide, and we were playing across the center about in the middle. VERY strange, but that's just where the stage was. It was really geared for MUCH smaller things, but we made it work. :)

But man, that 24F was just percussive as all get-out. I was really diggin it. So ultra-tight. Me an Harv were totally in a zone! :hyper: :hyper:

But I tell you what, when you're playing yours, you'll pretty much have the same experience as I do. You'll be digging the effortless play and the ruthless growl. That's what these do. :D

I've been to shows down there. It is a real strange room. I wish I had a Sadowsky or Pedulla like the Modern or Rapture with the Park Singers. The drummer really likes the scooped sound, and I think a bass with that type of pickup would have satisfied both of us.

Vic,

I have a MB F1 and a AE210 and a HT112... How do you compare runing this setup against the one you have (2xAE210)?

Man, I wish I could help you but I've never owned an HT112, so I really can't say. I'm pretty sure Tom has this combo tho.

I'm told that you can... you just have to order them with a custom shell, and I think Carey offers that to anyone. I'm seriously considering trying a set of those or big splits in mine... maybe even dual coils and figure out some way to do splitting without drilling new holes. That's a longshot tho.

Well, of course it'll be a huge diff. You get twice as much radiating space, which is big enough of a diff alone, but you also get the elevation of that second cab for better monitoring on smaller stages. These things PROJECT, too... I'm still amazed at how forceful they are on stage.
