I have always thought the FB on my PJ was a little parched looking and a bit light for my taste. I ran a few googles and TB searches and discovered this product:

It really seemed to wake up the grain. It also darkened the FB slightly and gives it a mice luster.

Yes. It's morado.

The product is intended for all un-finished FBs. That seems like everything except maple to me.

I have two RW Fingerboard instruments. My Modern and my Gibson acoustic. I fully intend to treat those as well when the strings come off.

I imagine it will give those the same luster and feel, but obviously those woods don't have the same variant in the grain as does the morado. So, the oil probably wouldn't change the look nearly as much.
