That bass is the standard "modern" NYC 24-5 config. I have essentially the same bass, except that mine has an amboyna burl cap and the RW board is Braz.
IMO, the mahogany/RW combo tends to take just the slightest edge off of an otherwise VERY aggressive tone. The bass is very low-mid heavy with a tight, quick response.
I LOVE this tone. But, be advised it is nothing at all like the more classic-oriented tones of the Sadowsky JJ and PJ configs. It is its own animal for sure.
