Yeah, it's a great cab. I discovered this weekend that it really seems to sound best cranked up a little more than I can typically get away with at most of our bar gigs; the 410 seems to sound great at any volume, but the 212 needs to be juiced a little more before it starts sounding its best IMO.

It's funny how the same song can go over great at a PRIDE event or a biker Run. We had drag queens singing the same songs along with us -- I guess Zeppelin is universal, LOL.

As usual, the WL sounded great! I'd brought my Berg AE212 because it had looked like it might rain and it fits nicely under a trash bag if needed. But the rain held off; the sound guy was using a 421 (nice piece of gear -- might be tops on my GAS list). The city had blocked off a street downtown (we were playing a benefit show for a local AIDS organization during PRIDE week), and during the a capella parts you could hear the crowd singing reverberating in the street which was really cool.

Very nice Bart. Sounds like a fun gig. Sorry, but I need some help w/the 421. Thanks.

Want. But at $380 street it's a bit pricey for something I'd likely use only a couple times per year.

My Top 40 band, my classic rock band and my country band all have AC/DC in the set lists and people go nuts every time.

LOL. We did Highway to Hell and had the entire block singing along. Some things are universal. Like rock.

a 421 is a great mic for bass, lower toms and 'maybe' kick.

Really? I doubt it. I have not seen many NYC 24-4 on the IN STOCK pages so I ass/u/med the demand was not that great for it.
