I still prefer tort best on 3TS, BUT, black is a very close second, and I totally agree with black on the natural finish. That's my first choice there.I've actually grown to like black pickguards, especially on 3-tone sunburst. I thought I always was a sunburt/tort guy but I'm digging black. I like the black with the natural as well - nice solid contrast.
Played it for 2 hours today and am leaving it as is! Love this bass!

I gigged this one a bunch this last weekend. Man, how can so much tone and punch come from a bass that weighs less than 7.5 pounds?? DANG!
I hate to say it in this thread, but I'm completely Sadowsky GAS free between this one, 4098, and my Metro PJ5. Deadly trio. Deadly.
