Club Sadowsky!!!

Phat!! That's some real bass tone there. Nice tight playin' too. I definitely have to woodshed on flats more.

Hope you get some of it up here in video also Ken. Be careful or you'll get to like flats. :D Thanks bro.

That P-J suits you well Blair! (Nice playing and tone) :bassist:

The P is in my blood Dave. I'm sure you understand. ;)
It's fun but a struggle to lock with anything because of the nature of the process.(the drums can get lost in the headphones when the bass is removed). Some CD's are pretty good for overdubbing though. The old recordings were altered a lot in pitch as well & require re-tuning to that. Easy to miss if I don't pay attention.

Blair,

Hmmm, can I have your autograph? :D Loved the overdubs so far. Only got the chance to listen to a couple. I'm going to put you on my ipod/iphone! :hyper:

You'll have to let me know how it sounds. Does your ipod/iphone have eq capability? Do you use buds or headphones? Thanks for your interest & feedback Lee.
B.

All ipods have a "eq". Not great but better than nothing. I listened to a couple songs on my desktop Bose speakers and well.....

Very sweet bass.

Personally, I would leave it the way it is. No pickguard.

The way it is looks more unique plus I think the knobs would get in the way of a pickguard the way they're positioned.

Agreed. The AC, pickguard with no plate look is not very attractive, IMO. There have been a couple of standards that that shown up in TB class with an added PG, it just doesn't work well. Again, IMO.

Just picked up this baby from Latinbass. What a glorious tone! Just thinking do I go white pg or tort?
Well of course it's your bass, so you get to decide, but since you asked, I'd (also) say leave it as it is. :)

If you are one of the people that likes a smaller space between the bottom of the strings and the bass for slapping or something, I'd suggest a clear ramp or something.

I had seen a clear half on a blue ms4 and though a white half might look good and would bring my hand a little higher up when slapping?
My personal pref on it is big enough to provide the slap solution, but not big enough to require screws. IMHO, the half guard would be too big.
