Phat!! That's some real bass tone there. Nice tight playin' too. I definitely have to woodshed on flats more.
That P-J suits you well Blair! (Nice playing and tone)![]()

Blair,
can I have your autograph?Loved the overdubs so far. Only got the chance to listen to a couple. I'm going to put you on my ipod/iphone!

You'll have to let me know how it sounds. Does your ipod/iphone have eq capability? Do you use buds or headphones? Thanks for your interest & feedback Lee.

Very sweet bass.
Personally, I would leave it the way it is. No pickguard.
The way it is looks more unique plus I think the knobs would get in the way of a pickguard the way they're positioned.
Well of course it's your bass, so you get to decide, but since you asked, I'd (also) say leave it as it is.Just picked up this baby from Latinbass. What a glorious tone! Just thinking do I go white pg or tort?

My personal pref on it is big enough to provide the slap solution, but not big enough to require screws. IMHO, the half guard would be too big.I had seen a clear half on a blue ms4 and though a white half might look good and would bring my hand a little higher up when slapping?
+1On half-guards, I always think clear looks the best.

Should be headed my way soon...I'm fairly well stoked over it
