Unfortunately, I'm certain that you're wrong. There have been some pretty heated debates here on TB in the past where stalwart advocates of Sadowsky basses being grossly overpriced clone basses have firmly maintained that position. I'm positive there will always be those people. So their not being for everybody is correct, but it goes far beyond just not being someone's thing yet still being respected... unfortunately.

I agree and it is unfortunate. I dont get why people do so though. I have never been a fan of Fen**r basses. Never owned one and probably never will. But, I don't go on forums bashing them. Every builder/luthier deserves respect no matter what your personal feelings are towards their instruments! IMHO

Oh lord, the reason I started this was just because of that!
Look at the very first post in the very first Club thread.
I put that quote in there from Roger because of all the mis-information and all the ugliness that would happen in almost every SAdowsky thread that would be posted up.

And for your last statement....2 out of 3 isn't bad....he's a mod and he has a few Sadowsky's....:hiding:

Working on those pics! Kevin will be sending me one and will post it. My Iphoto skills cant seem to resize the pics to fit.

The specs....

WL5
Ash body, Brazillian RW board, Single coils, Olympic White with matching headstock and strung with Sadowsky flats.

Really impressed with the Sadowsky Flats on the WL5.

In passive it sounds very close if not exactly like my 64 Jazz. In normal mode (preamp engaged) It still very warm but its got some bite even though its Flatwounds but with the mid boost engaged...... Man its real aggressive ...like some body put in a an extra single coil in the 70's position on the bass!

With the bridge soloed it s got a real sweet honky, nasally sound as well.

So overall can't be happier! Just can't wait to get it home and play around with it more.
