johnnydi, it appears we have the same taste in Basses as well as other hobbies, I was just watching your little house movie and i too love making movies with my macbook pro and using IMOVIE, i used that same song for a tortoise movie i made with my CANON VIXIA HFS 20 HD. I love making short films and editing. Whenever you are not busy check out Digital Video News, Reviews and Forums at DVInfo.net i also lurk there a lot. Sorry folks did not mean to change the subject, now back to basses, LOL!

Yes, the rig is the GK MB Fusion and two of the Neo112-II cabs, though of course that's not what you're hearing on the recording. That just happens to be the rig I use most often, so I used it in the vid.

The bass is also not what you're hearing, but very close. The one in the recordings is 4098. So still an ash/maple JJ5 with SC pickups, but not a 24 fret chambered with a figured top. 4098 was at Sadowsky getting some TLC at the time of the shoot, so I had to pick an alternate.

I'm not an endorsing artist for either company of course, but I do like to give credit where due, and at least fairly faithfully represent what someone would see at a show in the vid, so that was kinda' my intent.

Anyway, thanks again folks. :)

Thanks again (all). Yeah, I have to admit, this is the strongest band I've been in for a long time vocally. I mean, I can sing some backup, but when you have four leads in the band, there's just no need, and it's awesome that all I have to do is bass. :)

My only lament is that we're all busy folks with families, so we can't rehearse very often. If we did, we'd be covering some really hard vocal stuff like Eagles, and I'd dare say, pretty well. Harvey, the drummer, can hit REALLY high notes. We used to do the Mariah Carey version of the J5 tune "I'll be there" and he hit most, if not all, of her high notes.

The sound is tight...the material is good and you guys look like you have a lot of fun which is so important. When the band has a good time it translates to the audience and helps them have more fun.

It's so depressing when you see bands with no life on stage...it really does so little for the audience.

Nice job, Vic (and crew)!
