Club Sadowsky!!!

IN !!!

IMAG0535.jpg

I have a new build that is on someones bench at the shop as well.
Im hoping it hits by my birthday in July!!! :bassist:

Just ordered a little while ago! Kevin was great to talk to on the phone. I only hope the "Sadowsky Reality Distortion Field" doesn't affect me too badly, 8-10 months is a long time without having to go to school :bawl:
And I do have to go to school.

Okay, I'm ecstatic for you! Can you share the final specs - maybe someone can Photoshop a rendition of your new Sadowsky bass?

Aw, thanks! Yeah, I guess that couldn't hurt :D
24 fret 4 string, flame maple on ash. Dark cherry burst finish with black hardware. Standard body, maple fingerboard with a smaller neck radius and nut width. Humcancelling pickups and standard stainless steel strings. I think that's it... I might be forgetting something, but I don't think so. So excited! As I said in Part 26 of the club, I'm still at highschool and I've been working at McDonald's for two years to save up... ordering it was very exciting indeed :hyper:
And I'm very jealous of your two, BluesyCat. Where was it you lived again? :ninja:

Congratulations! Still a student here as well. Not high school anymore, though...

Emilym80....welcome! I am very impressed that you saved for two years while working during high school to join the Sadowsky Family. Guess you have a few more months to save too! ;)

I'm getting close to having a Metro RV5-PJ ordered for me - the 59 burst, just like the one on the Metro "instruments" page. I decided that instead of modding a new Lakland P to add the J, the Sadowsky P/J felt great, played great, and was tonally different (in a good way) from my Laklands. You all helped with your pretty pictures, glowing tone reviews, etc. :)

When I do pull the trigger, and she arrives, she'll join her "burst" sisters. She'll add Rosewood to Maple and Pau Ferro.

(Yeah. I know. The strings on that 6'er look a little thin for TalkBass. :))
