Ok, I'm gonna' be straight up with ya... I've never been much into the Duco style finishes... but... that one just looks classy as hell. Something about the lighter colors with the maple board just works. And at 8.5 pounds ash/maple that thing is going to KILL tonally. One thing... did you stick with the HC pickups or have them swap them out for the SC's? On the 5 string models, I'm pretty partial to the SC's, but I think the 4 bangers are different. I've heard recordings of the 4 banger HC's and they seem to sound better than the 5 strings HC's. Still tho... I generally remain an SC kinda' guy. :)

Anyway, can't wait for first gig reports, but I think I know how it's gonna' go. :)

I'm going with the HC's that are in it. I've had too many problems with SC's in the past (even though I have heard great things about Sadowsky SC's), but I do really like the sound of the Sadowsky HC's on a 4!

I actually won't be getting this until the end of the month (because it blew a hole in my budget), so no gig reports until April, but I know for sure it's gonna match up great with my new Genz Benz rig!!!
