Club Sadowsky!!!

THAT is the bass I want! I want first dibs.

Oh, and it's Scotch for me...Oban.

And, BluesyCat your sleepwear is safe with me. Every time, I wear my Sadowsky shirt as an undershirt, I always feel like I'm keeping s secret like "you think I play a Fender copy, but it's a Sadowsky!". Sorry, shouldn't post while buzzed.

Does anyone have a Sadowsky with 18mm string spacing? Besides Tal...

IIRC, Tal has 19mm on her 4 string.

I've had / have all possible string spacings:

19 on a 4, 20 on a 4, 19 on a 5 and 18 on a 5. The 4's have a 1-1/2" nut width and a 9" radius, while the 5's have a 1-3/4" nut width and a 12" radius, just so you know.
I find the difference to be quite subtle, but more noticable on a 5. In general, I don't even realize there's a difference when I play fingerstyle. When slapping, I notice it a little more, but I can slap 'em just fine. Mind that I have quite small hands and fingers, so maybe someone with bigger hands would opt for 20mm on a 4 and 19mm on a 5. That's what they do if you don't request otherwise anyway.

I've seen this one around someplace too. :D

As a "J" guy ;) this one was the answer to the Mahogany / Koa / BRW question for me,

It's an incredible bass and compliments the ash / maple 5'er VERY nicely! :hyper:
