I actually saw that bass being played on "Letterman" some time ago. Can't recall the band. The markings on the PG ID'd it for sure.

Yeah, I love that bass too! I think it's the guy from Lady Antebellum's (or his is very similar)

This is the one I was going to choose. My PJ would be my working day dress and this one would be my Sunday dress.

AND it comes in @ 8lb. I'd love to hear what that mahogany/rw P, (P pup), sounds like. It's the only one I've ever seen.

I've had / have all possible string spacings:
19 on a 4, 20 on a 4, 19 on a 5 and 18 on a 5. The 4's have a 1-1/2" nut width and a 9" radius, while the 5's have a 1-3/4" nut width and a 12" radius, just so you know.
I find the difference to be quite subtle, but more noticable on a 5. In general, I don't even realize there's a difference when I play fingerstyle. When slapping, I notice it a little more, but I can slap 'em just fine. Mind that I have quite small hands and fingers, so maybe someone with bigger hands would opt for 20mm on a 4 and 19mm on a 5. That's what they do if you don't request otherwise anyway.

this one was the answer to the Mahogany / Koa / BRW question for me,It's an incredible bass and compliments the ash / maple 5'er VERY nicely!
