If you REALLY want to hear Joey's HC pups, check out "BASSically Speaking" on his site. My fav Sadowsky bass tone ever!!!

Interesting, because Joey, it's some of your recordings I was referring to. :)

THAT SOUNDS GREAT!

Thanks guys but its the Sadowsky doing all the talking!! ;)
I love the HC pups in my Standard 4s. But, I did like the SC
pups better in my old Standard 5. It's all good! :bassist:

This thing is really awesome Vic! I like it way better than the older Shuttle series and the Streamliner series. Not sure about the ShuttleMax series though, never tried those.

I think it will be a perfect match for my new Sadowsky. It has plenty of volume and they only weigh about 40 lbs. each!!!

;)
Everything is better with the new stuff. I ALMOST bought the 9.2 head with the combo cab and extension (both Series 2 of course), but ended up going with the Max 9.2 and two of the Series 2 extension cabs. Not that much more money and lots more features (though of course it won't work with the combo cab). The stuff they came out with this year is, IMHO, a big step forward in the entire line.

THIS is what the doctor ordered. Gonna miss my NYC PJ5 that currently resides with Mrs Bluesy Cat (and she wears it well I'm sure!), but my 08' Am Std P5's got me covered.

Much thanks to Bass San Diego for working a trade with me on this one. They told me this thing was light for an UV5, but this sucker is 8.5 lbs!!!!

VERY nice... and yeah, very light for a ash/maple UV5! Nice grab!

Very nice @ 8.5 lbs! My MV5 is 8.6... Never heard of a UV5 being less than 10 lbs .

Kind of worried it might float away actually. Even with the full sized solid J body it's at least as light as the chambered PJ5 that I recently parted with. Neck profile is a little thicker from front to back, which I like A LOT actually. Can't wait to plug it in this evening! Maybe I can talk my 3 year old son into baby sitting his newborn sister..........probably not a good idea...

No, 8.5-ish is a REALLY nice weight... my older MV5 is around that, and it feels great on a strap and smokes tonally too of course. :)

It's been almost 24 hours since the last post here. That's just unacceptable!!!!!

So like.......I like my Shadooski bass. A LOT. Need to ADD more Shadooski basses instead of trading away.

Your right that is unacceptable.

I drink a shot glass full of Sadowsky Everyday polish every morning for Breakfast. It keeps me shiny on the inside.
