^ Thanks... yeah, I know this is just personal opinion. I fell in love with the example bass I posted (except when at the shop, it had a "sold" sticker on it, otherwise I would of purchased it... It was similar to my MV5, but had a more warm give to the notes.
I haven't shared any pics of my new (to me) NYC Sadowsky, so here it is:
Some of you guys may recognize her as she used to belong to JimS. Now just for some single coil pickups (even though it kills with the humcancelling pickups) and MAYBE black hardware. Notice that's a big maybe, the gold kind of grew on me.

I think that this is perhaps the most attractive photograph of a Sadowsky bass that I've ever seen! The light on it is PERFECT!
