I can see that the "original P" was taken down in one photo. Did you try it? Thanks for the pics.Stopped by the Sadowsky shop today with a friend of mine who was having some work done on his Will Lee. Was pretty awesome getting to play all the basses there. Lisa helped my friend out and got everything fixed up free of charge! I was very impressed with the shop and the welcoming atmosphere. I'm very happy with my metro but definitely plan to get an NYC in the next year or two. Just need to decide what i want.......

If I had a Sadowsky "original P", I think I would need therapy to calm down! How can THE original still have that much charm & tone to put babies to sleep, & at the same time bring tears to my eyes.Yeah I did try that one...pretty awesome. Seemed like the VTC did a ton to the tone on that one when it was all the way up vs. rolled off.
Go to the main page, click "in stock" and in the drop down, there's a "recently sold" item.Seems to me there used to be a link to lots of sold NYC basses, could some one help a brother out with this link?

Edit: This one's from way back that I've had in my iPhoto since forever. Click on it & look at the beautiful alder grain & the nice rosewood. Needs a P neck for me though.
That sounds like a quote from the Sadowsky brochure.Blair - that is a photo to keep! Beautiful bass. Elegant and classic, tastefully upgraded with exquisite materials.
