I've owned a 4 string Will Lee for almost 2 years, finding a used 5 is impossible so I ordered my first new Sadowsky back in Jan. Kevin sent me some pics today. I am so stoked.

Congratulations Mike. I like the CAR w/the darker shade birdy board. Get a spare tort pg for that sweetheart.
Best move I ever made with mine. It's like 2 basses. (see P.1 for mine.) Nice to have a change of pace if the urge strikes.

I really don't mind the ads too much. They have to stay profitable. At least there hasn't been one of Flea with his shirt off for awhile.
It's been a really good series on the various bass super star builders. Roger of course, but there has been Jerzy and Cary N. And it was great to read about Ken Smith. I've never really liked his basses but he really is bass royalty. I absolutely love John Goldsby's submissions even though it can be really tough wrapping my musically feable brain about some of the stuff he discusses. Anyway Roger's article was great. I didn't know that he almost became a brain surgeon! I will say that I am so glad he cut class to build one of the best basses built today.

I also love candy green, actually my choice of the candies. Even the blue is nice.
That tort will be a great "go to" on that CAO. Well done.

What happened to the JJ5 that was orange? I think Saluki had it. It had a pretty good ding on it. Seems like it was Alder/Maple but im not 100% sure about that. I always thought I might grab it if it ever came around again. I have always wanted an Orange Sadowsky.

(about the sound, not about my playing !!!)

But even with this bad treatment, the bass sound is still here.
I us the low B at 2,25" a lot and do a short chorus at 5""
As you will see , we are not a proffesional band !
