Out of curiousity, is it possible to order a Metro MV5P/J with the bound and blocked fretboard available on the UV basses? Maybe with an upcharge?

One to start with anyway. If you could see my collection of hockey goalie gear and music/sports memorabilia, you could say with confidence I'll own more than one at some point. Might not even stop at two!

I've spent several hours dinking on this 'un now.
As close as I can get to describing it sonically might be:
"If my MV5PJ had the bridge pup at the 70's spot...it'd be kinda like that."
Yet different.
I dunno that it's a keeper, it's sure "outside my normal;" but it'll be fun to gig it for a while no matter what happens!

For good or bad, people WILL comment on how they can hear every note.
Honestly, I can't think of another bass that cuts better in a live mix. My ash/maple with SC's doesn't even come close.

Another couple gigs with my Sadowsky basses. I think ived played over 2000 shows with one over my shoulder. Never disappointed.
