I've been messing with an m5-24 with big singles. Have not taken it out of the house yet, but it's pretty nice. I like the neck pickup solod as a big nasty Pbass type sound but with such a tight low end. Pretty cool. The blended sound is awesome but doesn't have a lot of use in the music play.
It's still undeniably one of the great 5 string basses.
I like it best with sadowsky black steels so far.
