Question: Were any of the earlier metro PJ's, or JJ's for that matter, made using real rosewood, or has it always been Morado? I believe, and may be wrong, that the current ones are all Morado and not Brazilian Rosewood. I don't mean to cause a Morado-v-rosewood smack down, I am just not a big fan of the morado personally, but may be in the marked for a P/PJ.

As far as I know - all the RV Metro's have always been Morado.

Sounds amazing - tight focused punch of ash, and a warmer fingerstyle attack of Brazilian Rosewood... wow, what a bass!

The tone in the house/monitors was just money. I used it on the Ray Charles/Alicia Keys version of "America The Beautiful" in a 70-some odd piece wind ensemble. It slotted into even that mix, balancing with the tubas (drastically different tone color to them), and stayed out of the way of the higher instruments.

Awesome! I love checking out music at the pavilion at Millennium Park, what a great place that must be to play.

The tone is unique (to me at least). Im used to ash/maple & alder/rosewood. This is a hybrid of sorts and Im loving it.

Its like an alder/rw jazz, but with a more complex/growly midrange. A bit more tight, punchy mid forward tone. Doesnt quite have the fat "bloom" of alder (which I also love).

Great, different tone. Oh yeah, looks cool too :D
