Just put my call into my buddy Dan and awaiting a reply. Just noticed they want it in standard def, so that'll be what we do. I'll do my best. Worst case I'll have a nice video bidness card.![]()

so I asked Kevin if he had some solid ash bodies around. Among the photos that he sent me was a full size, 3 3/8 lb. solid ash beauty. I requested a "darker than usual" 'vintage tint' finish and what you see is the result...I LOVE it and I hope that someone at the shop is working hard on this thing so I can have it here ASAP. Rob, if you are the builder, I'll be screening TalkBass and I hope I don't find a single post with your name until you get the job done Among the photos that he sent me was a full size, 3 3/8 lb. solid ash beauty. A few months ago I contacted the guy I bought my single coil equiped Sadowsky Vintage 4 to ask him if he was interested in selling it back to me...he obviously didn't want to sellso I asked Kevin if he had some solid ash bodies around. HI
Just get it. You have a 7 day trial. If you dont like it, send it back and wait for your order. No big woop
Rob
There seems to be two distinct neck finishes on the Sadowsky's. One is very smooth and shiny (every Metro I've played had this finish, and quite a few NYC's, including my RV5). Then, there is an almost 'tung oil' type finish. It's totally flat (i.e., it doesn't have the somewhat glossy shine) and a touch 'oily' feeling (you can really feel the 'wood' through the finish). This is the finish I have on my new NYC MV5. My NV5 is also 'vintage tint'. I would have assumed vintage tint was just a coloring. However, is the vintage tint the reason that the finish not only looks but also feels so different.
I like them both, but they are quite different.
OUCH! Well, sorta'... I'd want a vintage with the PG and control plate.Like This? >>> [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
