I was just looking at the Sadowsky online store to buy some Single Coil pickups for my Metro RV4 when I noticed that they're finally selling Metro Precision Pickguards!
I dont even have my Metro Precision yet but I'm totally stoked. I think I'm gonna order a white pearloid and a tort one in the mean time. I think those two and the stock white one will look killer on a Sonic Blue/ Rosewood P.

So I am bored at work late yesterday afternoon and I see a MV4 on my local Craigslist. The guy seems very articulate and is looking to sell it outright (market price basically) or interested in trades. For fun, I ping him with an offer, he is interested, we meet this afternoon and voila, my 3rd Sadowsky!
Nice guy to deal with and a great bass. How could I refuse?

So I am bored at work late yesterday afternoon and I see a MV4 on my local Craigslist. The guy seems very articulate and is looking to sell it outright (market price basically) or interested in trades. For fun, I ping him with an offer, he is interested, we meet this afternoon and voila, my 3rd Sadowsky!
Nice guy to deal with and a great bass. How could I refuse?

The ONLY downside is that it is an older Metro with no VTC. Still sounds great in any case.

L-R.... The Metro I picked up today, 1992 NYC and a recent MS5.
I am done with Sadowskys as 3 is my wife-imposed limit!
Flats are on the NYC and rounds are on the Metros. The NYC was almost TOO trebly with rounds.... with Flats? Wow! It even nails RHCP slap stuff. It is my go to bass these days. The MS5 is my only 5er as I sold my Fender Jazz V's and Stingray 5 as soon as I heard this bass on a gig. I don't use it a lot as my metal band is on hiatus, but I have to have a 5er lying around just in case, and this one is perfect IMO.
