i've just placed an order for a sadowsky with singles but i have gone for the modern look with no scratchplate: so its going to be like a snake in the grass! HI-FI with an OLD-SCHOOL twist! and i guess with the passive tone control you can get real old school but in a modern looking package.

You save $50 in install fees but do $500 in damage to your carpet, coffee table, pants, etc.
Actually, I can do pickups. But, something like putting a VTC in my 1992 NYC will definately be something I will have a professional take care of.
