Club Sadowsky!!!

that the new P-bass sounded superb.

It came with the new blue end wrap strings. I really like them. I wonder what the difference is between them and the black label (silver end wrap) ones?

Aloha,

Jonathan

I do not technically know the differences but I know the blue label nickels are a little brighter than the black label nickels. On the steels...I think the blue labels are not as bright as the black labels. Since I have never tried the black label steels, I cannot verify that. I have the blue label steels on my Metro and really like them. I have the blue label nickels on my NYC JJ and love them!

TB'er B.C. might possibly be chiming in here... I just let him use my MV5 for a set at his gig tonight. :)

It was kinda' funny to watch, actually... you know... that look people get... :)

No kidding there Vic. This thing is incredible!

This was my first time playing a Sadowsky in a mix, and wow, just wow!

You know how they make these cool little kids' toys that grow when you put them in water? I think that Roger does something like that with his basses, except that in the case of Sadowsky basses, you just add 'black shirt.' ;) :p :D

OK, we all know Sadowsky basses are great!
AND, we all know how much they are both used and new.

So, what is the deal with this??? CLICK

Even ClassicJazz's bass is more vintage I think and I doubt he paid over 4K!
Plus, this bass has a fair share of dings! :rollno:

Good luck to him on this one!

LOL! Luck won't get it done... I don't even think a miracle will. :D

Crazy. Does that mean my 1992 #1293 is worth $4000-5000?:D Please.

The older ones are good, but the newer Sadowsky basses are better IMO. I can only imagine what Roger can build now for $4999!!!

P.S. I would say this bass is worth $2000-2500 tops.

I wonder if, in 20 years time, we will be telling stories on TB about the time when we could have snared a vintage - pre-push-pull VTC - pre-Metro Sadowsky for only $5k as we talk about how all the 3-6k series team built Sadowskys were every bit as good as the "hand made" ones by Roger.

I seriously doubt it, but I've definitely been wrong before on predicting stuff... it's why I don't play the stock market and Vegas doesn't bug me one bit. :)

Your right hand. Might be an optical delusion on my part but that finger looks 5 or 6"' long.
LOL!!!!!

Hey B.C. I TOLD you not to get that extension! I TOLD you people would notice!!

BASSKADET, yeah, it's a prosthetic with a built in slapring and e-bow. It's kinda' heavy, but he's getting used to it and the special efx he gets are really amazing. The only problem is, he keeps poking himself in the left eye when he drinks from a glass... gotta' figure that one out... :D

Seriously tho, it's just ano optical issue with the blurry picture. I'm gonna' stop short of saying he's "normal", but his finger is typical size, at least... ;) :D

Actually Vic, my fingers are a tad bit long, plus naturally double jointed.

Vic, the ebow in the finger thing is actually a pretty neat idea. I was just researching how to create electromagnetic fields using a simple circuit. Hm, this is good. Stay tuned folks! :D
