Just received these new pictures from Kevin of my bass just a couple days after getting pictures of the unassembled body. It came together much quicker than I expected. I know that the look's not for everyone, but they nailed what I was going for.

My only question is whether I should get a tortoise guard made in addition while they still have the bass.

My first Fathers Day present... What a fantastic wife having this created for me.

Too funny Chef!

Now, my wife has sworn that when she went back to work that she was going to buy me a bass. She does real estate school in the Fall and has a job lined up. So, I'll alert Kevin to an incoming deposit when she sells her first house!!!

I played a big outdoor event the other night (Kool & The Gang were headlining) and the bassist in one of the other bands was playing a Sadowsky J. I don't know of too many guys in Montreal who play Sadowskys so I was a bit surprised. Of course, the bass sounded great through the enormous sound system - nice and full with good note definition. :)
