Just received these new pictures from Kevin of my bass just a couple days after getting pictures of the unassembled body. It came together much quicker than I expected. I know that the look's not for everyone, but they nailed what I was going for.

My only question is whether I should get a tortoise guard made in addition while they still have the bass.

Ixnay on the turtle. The Pearl white looks great! I guess black, black pearl or abalone might be alternatives.
 
Just received my new Sadowsky NYC PJ 5 String last weekend.

Swamp ash body with caramel burst quilted maple top, maple neck with Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, and the usual Sadowsky electronics and pre-amp. I have played it every day since I got it and love it more every time. First gig with it is tonight!

Swamp ash body with caramel burst quilted maple top, maple neck with Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, and the usual Sadowsky electronics and pre-amp. I have played it every day since I got it and love it more every time. First gig with it is tonight!

That is stunning! Congratulations!

Wow is the word! I am a sucker for Blue basses. Leave the guard alone it is perfect.

That's a looker for sure. Not too many Sadowsky basses in Canada with Brazilian fretboards. Outstanding!

I have never been a fan of blue basses but damn....this one has made me a believer!!!! Hot Bass!!!

IMHO i think it looks perfect with the current pick guard.
