Please! Not trans black. Dont hide that top.
Put a washer on the end of strings with smaller ends?
I've not had that happen.
+1Never in my 6+ years of playing Sadowsky's both Metro and NYC have I had a problem with strings popping out....never!
I disagree... I've had trans black figured top basses before and it's all about doing it right, which Roger's crew will do... the top still pops nicely, but more elegently and subtle in modest situations, when you want it to be, but then really jumps out under show lights. It'll be great!

I haven't been in the loop for sometime and was wondering when Sadowsky started coming out with custom colors for their Metro basses?

I have had TI E string ball end pop out of my Metro hybrid pj twice when stringing up. But no problems since. And no, it didnt slide over to the larger opening in the bridge before coming out...It came through the point where it is supposed to be held. But only happened twice.
Well alrighty then!
New Metro colors here...

Yeah, I seem to recall that it might be an option only if you are ordering new and direct from Roger. The only other "change" you might be able to make is to specify nickel or flats vs. ss. I'm sure Roger will chime in.

This is somewhat off-topic - but does anyone have a sound clip of one of the NYC 5 strings with a soap bar and P pickup?
